If my 15 year old self could have shopped at Witch Worldwide, I honestly feel like I’d still be paying for it now. I am loving the affectionately termed ‘nu goth’ trend going on right now. It’s a bit of hipster and a lot of goth, and totally has scope for me to inject some pastel pinks and blues to make it my own.

Witch Worldwide were on and off my radar in 2016, but in the last month I have been lusting over their clothing majorly. They’re super inclusive: so far I’ve seen them going from XS to 5XL on the same products, which is such a cool thing to be able to say. I feel like the clothes are dripping with irony, and I can almost feel my moody teenage never-quite-cool-enough-to-be-goth self sticking up a middle finger when I picture myself wearing them. Maybe I’m reliving some misspent youth – or maybe I’m just being a totally embarrassing parent – but I am seriously obsessed with basically everything on their website.

Their sweatshirts are to die for (see what I did there?) and I fell in love with the seven pentacles oversized sweatshirt the moment I saw it. I find the shape delicate, yet on a chunky sweatshirt that makes me feel cozy just by looking at it. I also love the Goth Spice cropped sweatshirt. I’ve never worn a cropped sweatshirt before, and I think it’d be so fun to see how I styled it up. Without a doubt the outfit would need to include these Girl Power earrings.

The ‘Make America Goth Again‘ tee is ridiculously tongue-in-cheek, which I love. These ‘Goth Goth’ sunglasses are the perfect accompaniment, and to top it all off I’d chuck on these Go Away earrings. I definitely feel like I was never quite cool enough to dress the way I wanted to when I was a teenager, and now I’m in my late 20s I am loving the idea of wearing and feeling whatever I want and being loud and proud about it.

Don’t get me wrong, the prices on Witch Worldwide are definitely top end. £45 for a pair of sunglasses is beyond steep, and after adding shipping and customs I have sadly come to accept that my lusting remains exclusively online until I achieve my impending lottery win. My hypothetical basket only contained six items and without shipping my grand total was slightly shy of £200. Still – a pretend nu goth can dream, right?
