We asked three different writers, or different heights and sizes to style the same dress from Yours Clothing. We’re big fans of Yours Clothing and they have an incredible range of dresses for everyone as they cater up to a 36! So we thought this was a great way to show off how the same style dress from Yours can suit everyone. We asked for their honest opinions on the dress and if they felt it was suited to their style. I love Yours Clothing for offering clothes in such a wide range of sizes. I found the sizing on this generous and it felt unrestricted because of the sleeve style. I love the fact that it can easily be worn with a pair of trainers or paired up with jewellery and accessories to make it a bit glam for a night out. It’s really comfortable to wear and I can’t wait to wear it out again!

I jumped at the chance to be part of this little experience because I couldn’t have been more intrigued; would it really be possible to find something that worked for all of our plus bodies?

I was happy to let the other ladies pick our outfit choice. When I saw the picture I was excited…but if I’m honest that’s where my excitement ended.
There was a lot of room though so if sizing is a concern for a fuller 18 you can definitely size down.
I like where the waist line was but I felt there was too much material. So I put on a crushed velvet blazer in a moment of weakness and insecurities of my arms.

Then I thought….nah, whipped off, pulled the straps of the dress down and modelled it off the shoulder.
I know, extra, but I like show off my extra.
So all in all, this style isn’t for me.

This isn’t a dress that I would normally go for but I was so surprised at just how comfortable and cute I felt! I don’t really own anything that’s high necked but for when I’m just running errands or going for my nails, this dress has been the chosen one. It’s quite oversized meaning that you could easily size down for a more fitted look, but if you want something more casual and loose for the day time, this is the dress for you! I loved the length as I didn’t feel like I’d have to wear anything to keep warm (I would only be outside for a few minutes) and the general floatiness of the dress made me feel fun and free! I decided to wear it with my favourite lace jacket and I think I look great, it definitely makes me want to try styles out of my comfort zone more often!
