High fashion costs money. We accept it, which is why most buy a few select items at once. We can dream of a big inheritance or put our hopes on the chances of winning the lottery, but until these things happen, we must pay attention to what the elite class of people wears and make purchases that are quality and long-wearing.

Wealthy people know fashion. They wear quality and unique clothing. Chic and understated is the typical dress code for the rich. Celebrities and stars buy clothing that is made of natural material. They may have an outfit professionally altered to bring it into a specific style.

Casual designer clothes

You expect to see a celebrity in a perfectly fitted suit or dress at an event. They are usually photographed looking like perfect models. But even the wealthiest people do not wear clothes like this daily. Just like the rest of us, they look for comfort in casual wear. But, they are not wearing what we are wearing.

You may see a celebrity or person of wealth on the street wearing an athletic suit, jogging pants, or a tee. However, they wear the best brands, made of the highest quality. You may not realize that the sweats they are wearing may cost $1000. The handbag slung over their shoulder could cost hundreds or thousands. Look for a subtle logo somewhere on these casual outfits. Big brands like Gucci or Versace command a great price because they are made by the best and for the rich.

Jewelry

One way people show off their wealth is with jewelry. We are not talking about a gold or silver ring or even a diamond solitaire. You want big, bold, shiny, striking pieces. In 2022, a lot of celebrities will choose not to wear jewelry. But rappers, musicians, and people who are famous due to their wealth will. Gem studded glasses count as jewelry. The bigger the brand, the better. Invest in one stunning piece at a time if you must. A clunky necklace that has a lot of sparkles will catch the eye of anyone around you. Your jewelry should be jaw-dropping and noticeable. Until you reach that point, go with chunky chains that fall just under the neckline and thick bangle bracelets that can barely hide under the sleeve. They show enough that makes people think you are wearing something amazing that is scarcely visible. That is what “says” riches to the people you meet.

Trendy and extreme

While you do not see rich people dressed in wild, shocking, and bold clothing often, they wear them for certain events. These pieces break the monotony of traditional wear. These pieces come from brands such as Versace, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, and Gucci. Some of these items cost thousands, so they are really for the rich who want to show off a bit. Be careful investing in these pieces because trends come and go. Don’t buy something you are not willing to put away in a year or so.

Designer handbags

Handbags are more than a fashion statement. A good designer bag is an investment. They scream wealth and luxury. Even the simplest outfit is taken up a notch with a great handbag. It is no secret that some luxury brands command thousands for their product. But, a luxury handbag is an investment in your wardrobe, and some are worth the price.

Here are a few examples of handbags the rich buy and carry that are worth their price tags.

●     Chanel Classic Lambskin Quilted Handbag

○      This is a traditional and timeless handbag you will see on the arms of the very rich. It is classic and supports the Chanel logo. The average cost for this bag is £4262.

●     Gucci 1955 Horsebit-Detailed Textured Leather Shoulder Bag

○      This essential bag has a unique red and green shoulder strap and gold hardware. It makes the house of Gucci statement in an understated and chic way. This bag works with any age demographic. It comes from Italy, and it is an ageless piece. The price is very reasonable, at £2645.

●     Dior 30 Montaigne Flat Bage

○      A tribute to the House’s historic address, this bag shows superb craftsmanship. It is a timeless style that you will reach for years. You can wear this bag with almost any outfit and always look chic. The price is a bargain, at £2645.

Conclusion

If you hit the lottery, these items are must-haves. They show off your sense of style and tell the world you can afford to select any items you want. The wealthy know quality and luxurious items are worn for years. Some fashion pieces like a coat or a dress may need to be updated in the future, but the price of a tailor is nothing compared to the item’s value. When you invest in a quality handbag, watch, or fabulous shoes, you invest in yourself. This is what separates the haves from the have-nots. You are worth the price of quality and the best brands in the world. If you remember that, you will not be shy about spending your money on yourself.
