The Yours Clothing 2017 Awards were announced in 2018 and the winners were sent beautiful glass awards. Winners included our very own Georgina Grogan for Outstanding Achievement in The Plus Size Industry, as well as Chloe Pierre, Grace F Victory, Michelle Elman, Callie Thorpe and many more.

Bloggers signed an open letter to the British High Street about their plus size ranges, or lack of, in stores. This included Callie Thorpe, Louise O’Reilly, Tess Holliday, Michelle Elman, Lauren Nicole, Bethany Rutter, Jada Sezer, Laura Capon, Chloe Elliott, Lottie L’amour, Amy Harrison, Olivia Campbell, and Grace Victory.
It’s a little difficult to talk about Curve Fashion Festival without bringing the tone of this post down, but it did open up some great discussion of accessibility at events in the future, and about diversity at events too. Let’s hope in 2019, these issues have been addressed.

I’m not sure exactly when Georgina Horne and Hayley from Curves’n’Curls announced their upcoming collection with Voodoo Vixen, but it’s safe to say we all know it’s happening and we’re super excited!
Calvin Klien go plus and feature Olakemii! Not only is it a big deal that they’ve launched plus sizes, but they reposted plus size model Olakemii and the amount of likes speaks volumes. Love this!

Last but certainly not least, at the very end of the year Topsy Curvy, a brand we all know and love, launched their own slogan tee range in up to a size 34! They’ve always talked about being inclusive and this really shows that they mean it!
