Something about fall weather makes me long for 90’s girly grunge. Maybe it’s the plaid, or the denim jackets, or the boots. Whatever it is, I’m planning to go full on girly grunge for autumn this year. It’s still over 30C every day here in Dallas, but I’m longing for shorter and cooler days so Ican bring out my tights, boots, and denim jacket!

Leopard Print
This River Island Leopard Print Dress (US Link) is just the right amount of girly grunge. The twist at the waist gives it that little extra, and you can layer on a blazer for the office. It’s a little investment at £46 but the amount of ways you can style this makes it worth it.
I love this mesh version from ASOS DESIGN, too. The frill at the bottom is so cute but with the right accessories, it’s still very girly grunge.
Denim Jacket
I love a cropped jacket – this denim one from ASOS is excellent and on sale. Perfect for layering over the dress from River Island. Currently sold out but they do have THIS option.
This sherpa lined Levi’s jacket from Simply Be is a classic for a reason and worth the investment.
Plaid Attitude
Get girly with this embroidered shirt dress – perfect with tights and boots, or layered over leggings for extra chilly evenings.
