Where do you live?
Hull, all the way at the end of the motorway- but we are City of Culture 2017!
What do you do for a living?
I’m a Business Development Manager for an Building Services Engineering Consultancy.
How long have you been blogging?
Under different blogs about 4 years, but under my current just over a year.
What made you start blogging?
I was hugely inspired by other bloggers who gave me the confidence to speak up and use my voice. I wanted an outlet for my creative side and blogging gave me just that. I could write about travel, fashion, history – anything and someone, somewhere may gain something useful from it.
Who do you admire in the blogging world?
I really admire bloggers who support and encourage others, to name a few … Terrible Tumbles, Lottie L’Amour, Stephanie DJL and Curvy Girl Thin.
What’s your favourite post on your blog?
This is a tricky one, I think City Stylin’ with Simply Be as it combines my love for fashion with the beautiful backgrounds of Rome. I think my favourite piece for She Might Be would be Women in the Renaissance as it is one of my favourite times in History!
Show us a favourite outfit?
I think a favourite outfit for me would be this H&M dress – it’s generously oversized and is my go to when going out for coffee or drinks. You can style it up with boots or put on some trainers to keep cool.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
Surprisingly (or not) I wanted to be Indiana Jones, then realised Archaeologists aren’t quite Indy!
Do you have any pets?
Yes I have a Miniature Schnauzer named Oscar(tron) and a tabby cat called Marmite (you love her or you hate her).
What does She Might Be mean to you?
She Might Be gave me a platform to write on something I adore with a supportive team around me. That to me, means a hellova lot!
Anything exciting coming up we should look out for from you?
I’ve been hired by Yours Clothing as one of their ‘Be the Bloggers’ so expect to see me crop up in your emails every now and then with some style advice.
