How long have you been blogging?
Just this year. I’m a novice!
What made you start blogging?
I entered Miss Pinup UK 2016 earlier this year on a whim, and got through to the regional quarterfinals based on public votes. At that stage, you need to demonstrate some kind of special talent, usually singing or dancing. I don’t do either, and so I wrote a piece on my journey to body positivity

Who do you admire in the blogging world?
Georgina Horne of Fuller Figure Fuller Bust was the first plus size blogger that I ever came across, and her blog changed my life. I loved her style but I was also inspired by her confidence, and her desire to empower plus size women everywhere.
What’s your favourite post on your blog?
This one, about mental health. I wrote it on World Mental Health Day, when it felt like still no one was talking openly about the issue. I sat at my computer and poured out my feelings about the nervous breakdown I had at the end of last year and the journey I’ve been on since then. Read it here.
Show us a favourite outfit?
One of the two in the photos. I love pinup and vintage style and am rarely seen wearing trousers. IN FACT< I don’t even own a pair on jeans!
What did you want to be when you grew up?
A make-up artist, a teacher, a winemaker, a midwife, a writer… I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up.
Do you have any pets?

What does She Might Be mean to you?
It gives me an outlet for creativity, and a safe and welcoming place to share anything from
Anything exciting coming up we should look out for from you?
Because I’m so new to the blogging scene, the only way is up for me! I’m determined to learn more about interacting with a wider audience via social media and make a name for myself as a plus-size blogger. After my fantastic experience this year, I will also continue to be involved with Pinup UK, promoting the concept of body confidence and size inclusivity within that setting.
