Every single Christmas I sit and think about all the ways I can say thanks to the men in my life for what they do. Whether this be something homemade, or something bought I really do like to put a bit of thought into the process. However, I find it SO HARD to shop for men, they can be difficult…am I right? If you’re struggling to buy some gifts for the fellas in your life then this is a good list for you. I’ve looked into drinks, bags, books, and much more to give you a feel of some of the things on offer this Christmas.
Hands up if you’re a Marvel fan! My husband is a HUGE marvel nerd and when I saw this hilarious, individual mug I knew it was the one for his office desk. If you know a comic book/film lover that fancies themselves as a bit of a baddy or even a superhero, then this could be a corker of a gift (and only £12.99). When I spotted this on the website I worried it looked a little cheap but it really isn’t. In person, this quality mug is quite heavy and well made, spot on for your favourite hot drink. I actually think this would suit one of my work colleagues to a T too! Anyone got a secret santa?
Has anyone else got a Whiskey lover in their life? Mine is my dad. Whilst not the cheapest gift (£50 a month subscription) you do get a quality, HUGE bottle in return. The Summerton Club promises to share beautifully-aged bottles of utter deliciousness each month to their customers. They focus on the main three of Whiskies (Bourbon, Whiskey, Whisky). Each bottle is delivered with a little sheet that explains the choice of whiskey and it’s origin. It’s practically a historical learning experience as well as a luxurious drink. If you’re looking to spoil someone in your life then a Summerton Subscription could be perfect for you. Oh and don’t think you need to sign up for the full year, there are bi-monthly options and a one of Christmas 3 bottle gift. Winner Winner.
For the person who loves reading, or the person who needs a little commemoration. The Book for Everyone is a personalised book tailored to your gift recipient. Quite simply, you put in their date of birth, full name and you can personalise a book based on information about their life. It has really quirky information in it such as the no 1 hit on the date they were born, top tv shows, how many breaths they’ve taken and details about the stars on their birth year. I’ve LOVED flicking through this and I’m sure my dad will too. It really is a special, individual treat. You can buy it from £23.95 and there are options for hard back.
Koppaberg Keg (Available at Asda from the 23rd November and Tesco from the 2nd December)
Know a Cider drinker? Or a party thrower? Then this Koppaberg keg could be the perfect way to spread some Christmas cheer to your favourite guy pal. As it’s 5 litres of Draught Cider it’s sure to last a little longer than their favourite Christmas film. The Blackcurrant & Blackberry flavour is an absolute winner if they like Koppabergs summer fruits flavour too. A little bit darker, still lovely and sweet. I’m not gonna lie though, I love cider so this one is to me, love me.
Have a friend who likes to carry a heck of a lot around with them? Or perhaps one who’s off on a trip and needs to ensure they can pack their essentials but remain stylish. This Jack Wills rucksack is made with a soft rubber wipe down fabric. It has a luxurious feel to it whilst being able to be paired with a pair of jeans and a tee. The bag is 18 x 15 inches and would be super happy if you’ve a nephew/uncle heading off to University (just think how many books you could fit in it!). It retails at £55.
Looking to add a little luxe to your mans shaving routine? The Wilkinsons Sword Classic Double Edge is like no other razor I’ve seen before. It operates with a simple butterfly clip opening for safe razor removal and has a vintage vibe to it. With it’s Metal handle it looks and gives you the traditional barer shop shave at a fraction of the price (£15 with 5 blades included). My husband resembles a yetti in his winter months so this ones for him!
