WARNING: This article may have you reaching for your purse.
We’ve all sat on Instagram and lusted over other people’s travel adventures. I’m the first to admit it’s one of the ways I choose what hotel I’m going to stay in when travelling. Nothing beats looking at another influencer’s review, eyeing up the best locations for a cheeky outfit shot. Here I’m going to run through Europe’s Top Instagrammable Hotels and why you should visit them.
Paris – Hotel Monge
Paris is always expensive. Most Capital cities are. If you can afford to splurge on the luxury then Hotel Monge has everything you need and more. Located in the Latin Quarter, it’s the perfect spot to escape the tourists but reach everything easily walking along the Seine. With it’s beautiful feature walls in each room, to essentially Parisian balconies, you’ll be snapping up instagrams like there’s no tomorrow.
Rome – Hotel Eden
As if Rome didn’t have enough places for you to photograph. Hotel Eden’s decor is the perfect compliment to many sights you’ll discover on a trip to Rome.
Berlin- NHow Berlin
Who wouldn’t want to dive into the powder puff bed of dreams? NHow Berlin is what I imagine a Flamingo’s vomit would look like. To be honest, I’m all for it.
Vienna – 25 Hours Hotel Vienna
When I followed my pal’s stunning getaway to Vienna, I immediately enquired about her hotel (her insta image is the second below). With the vibrant colours, quirky imagery and stunning scenery it’s the kind of Vienna I want to visit.
Anyone else spend ages sat on their phone when they wake up? I always check Instagram first as if something will have magically changed overnight 🤷🏼♀️🙊 . . . I’ve never managed to get that ‘oh my god look how cute am I am after just waking up in my hotel look’ so instead I decided to go with an actual ‘I’ve just woken up in last nights make up and not even combed my hair look’ – at least I’m honest right? Thankfully the stunning room distracts you from the state of me a little… 🙄 . . . 📷: @ashtongibbs #gltlove
London – The Ritz
Would this really be a list if I didn’t include the Ritz? With a Quintessentially English vibe, this is the perfect hotel to snap those instas to PROVE you’re in London town.
Prague – The Emblem Hotel
If you’re looking for those rooftop snaps then the Emblem is perfect for you. It’s interior is chic and modern giving you all those clean cut vibes. Think Monochrome.
Venice – Hotel Danieli
Literally my dream hotel. If you’ve seen the film The Tourist you’ll understand why. Completely enveloping ALL Italian beauty this hotel’s staircase is a stunning backdrop for any shot.
Mentioned in "The Talented Mr. Ripley" by Patricia Highsmith and "The Prison of Freedom" by Micheal Ende, to name but two, Hotel Danieli definitely belongs to the collective imagination. #hoteldanieli Photo @venetosecrets #theluxurycollection #danieliglam #venice #venezia #visitvenice #beautifuldestinations #globetrotter #wanderlust #italy_vacations #beautifulhotels #beautifulplaces #literature #imagination #books
Barcelona – Hotel Arts Barcelona
Barcelona has some of the most beautiful architecture, but also the most stunning sea views. Hotel Arts overlooks the beautiful ocean to give you those city/sea vibes. THINK OF THE PANORAMAS! So beautiful, and totally instagrammable.
Amsterdam – W Hotel Amsterdam
W hotels are pretty much always spectacular. Add to the mix the quirky surroundings their W lounge has and you’ve found a golden ticket! Go Go Go! p.s. the rooftop pool is heated. You’re welcome.
Amalfi Coast – Hotel Santa Caterina
Two Words: THOSE VIEWS. I highly doubt you’d be inside much with ridiculously instagrammable terraces like this to explore (and snap!)
Are there any top hotels in Europe you’d have liked to see included on this list?
