I love a good cruelty free makeup brand, and Colourpop are certainly a favourite of mine. While they are US based, they ship internationally and regularly have sales that make their products much more affordable. You will pay customs fees getting their products into the UK, but I can’t resist them and just had to share their eye shadows with you!
The Colourpop classic is their ‘super shock eye shadows’, these are unlike any eye shadow I’ve ever used before. Some people find these really hard to use, but I absolutely adore them! They are the creamiest and smoothest eye shadows I’ve ever tried. The texture is so soft, you need a more solid brush to apply them, a fluffy brush isn’t going to get the job done. They are really pigmented and have great staying power, I have hooded lids and these last all day with no problem!

These are blendable and available in a lush array of colours. I have so many of these now! I wish they sold them in palettes rather than just as singles, but I like them so much I don’t really mind.
Colourpop’s newest venture is into pressed eye shadow. They sell them in individual pans to make your own custom palettes, as well as in pre-made palettes with a colour theme. I love a good green eye shadow (because screw the beauty rule that says green eyes shouldn’t wear green makeup) so I opted to make myself a palette out of a lush mixture of green tones.
The palettes themselves are really adorable: purple, metallic and just the right amount of sass! They sell a mixture of mattes and shimmers and are slowly releasing more and more shades in these pressed pans. They are highly pigmented, smooth, and only $5 a pan! So often I buy palettes and end up not using a good chunk of the shades because they aren’t very ‘me’, this way I know I’ll use every shade. The palette itself is magnetic so you don’t have to worry about anything coming loose and escaping when travelling.
I really love Colourpop, they have such a great mixture of colours and shades in their products and are constantly bringing out new ranges that are so exciting. I would love to know what your favourites are!
