Where do you live?
What do you do for a living?
I’m an accounts manager for a haulage company.
How long have you been blogging?
I started my blog in April 2014, so it’s 2 and a half.
What made you start blogging?
I used to have a ‘uniform’ I wore, to hide away from the world. Full length black leggings, a black midi skirt, a plain t-shirt with elbow length sleeves. I wanted to be invisible, I felt I deserved to be invisible. And then I found Jessica Luxery on Tumblr, and thought they were amazing, and admired their confidence, and wished I could be like. Then I found Nancy, of Sugar, Darling, and I saw someone with a body shape like mine, looking absolutely incredible, in clothes I’d never dream of wearing. So I started a blog, for me at first, to try and push myself and document my journey along the way.
Who do you admire in the blogging world?
So many people! Nancy of Sugar, Darling?, Steph of Nerdabouttown, Georgina of She Might Be Loved, Bethany of Arched Eyebrow, I like people who make me look at myself, who challenge my ideas and what society has taught me.

What’s your favourite post on your blog?
That is such a hard question! Probably this post because it’s an outfit that really challenged me as I find blue so hard to wear. It was one of the first time I felt like I had really pushed myself out of my comfort zone and wore something I’d always wanted to wear, but had been too scared to.
Show us a favourite outfit?
Right now it’s probably this one which is a very recent one. I love autumn and layering, and I felt so cute in this look.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
Oh I changed my mind a lot. A teacher, a journalist, a lawyer, a politician, I wanted to do something big, to help people. It didn’t end up that way, but I like what I do.
Do you have any pets?
I have 3 cats and a Rottweiler. The cats are Lord Stitch the Third of the House of Chubblington (Stitches), Lady Patchingdon of Adorables (Patch) and Lemmy Katmister, and our rottie is Ashen. All are rescues. I’m a big believer in rescues and will only ever have rescue animals.
What does She Might Be mean to you?
She Might Be was a chance to be part of something bigger than just my blog, to reach another audience. It means being able to spread body positivity and love, and trying to do something that was for the plus size community, by the plus size community.
Anything exciting coming up we should look out for from you?
After an intensely busy and exciting 2016 (I got married!) I’m planning on a quieter 2017. More outfits, more body politics, more actual politics, more blogging! And lots more She Might Be.
