Beloved Endeavour started out as a stockist of vintage plus size clothing after the founder, Diane, struggled to find vintage clothing for herself. After opening an Etsy shop following a successful eBay launch, she then opened their very own website. Beloved Endeavour also recently started stocking some current trend pieces which I was sent to style and show off! They still have some fab vintage pieces too, so it’s a great way to add more current trends with some timeless pieces to your wardrobe in one fell swoop.
So far they have 4 dresses in their modern section, and if you stalk their Instagram you can see that will be expanding with two fabulous print dresses for summer. There’s one I have my eye on especially. It’s so pretty and pastel, with a great print!
The first dress I tried was the Samarie Dress, at £45, which comes in sizes 16 to 26 and is a lovely, thick scuba material with a silver sequin hem. The sequin hem is semi sheer and so the light shines through it and it’s super sparkly! It also adds a little bit of interest and I’m glad it’s not completely opaque. I did find I needed lighter colour shorts underneath as my usual black ones showed through this material as I spotted in one of the photos! I’m wearing a size 20 here and it’s fits very true to size. As well as the navy variant, it also comes in black which is a perfect for a night out I always think.

The other dress I tried was the Mesh Detail Marley Dress at £69. This one comes in sizes 18-22 and is also true to size, I’m wearing the 20 here. It has a nude lining which is quite a thin material, and did show my belly button until I added some high waisted pants! The mesh continues down past the lining at the bottom which I like a lot too.
The lighter parts can show off more of your body, but if you like to rock your VBO then this is perfect. The material is lovely and you can see in the details that it’s very well tailored too. The sleeves were just about long enough for me, I could have done with maybe an extra cm or two, being 5’11” I’m used to this to be honest and I only really noticed when looking back at these photos!
I styled it with my Pom Pom Sandals from Debenhams and my Butterfly by Matthew Williamson embroidered bag (currently in the sale!) as I thought I’d be more likely to wear this dress to a meal out, however you could wear it as a smarter day look too with some tights and loafers.
The fourth dress they currently stock is a velvet sleeveless dress, which comes in sizes 20-24 and is a stretch black velvet. The founder, Diane, is super lovely which I think it’s so important when running a small business. After chatting to her I know she’s talking to her suppliers to get them to make sizes past a 22 in the new stock so keep a look out too if you’re interested in these.
