When I went to the Curve Fashion Festival I was of course on the hunt for everything accessory based. I wasn’t overly awed as I found a lot of brands there had focussed on clothes rather than anything to be paired with them, which makes sense but still. I did still manage to find a few things that caught my eye from Simply Be and Boohoo though. I was wearing Boohoo heels for part of the day so I was glad to see some of their footwear offerings were looking fabulous for the upcoming season.
I’ve seen these cross strap mules around a lot recently and thanks to their style, I find they can accommodate a wider foot. Plus the nude pink of these is a great neutral alternative to a black shoe that I usually gravitate towards in winter. These are a highly coveted item though and keep selling out so be quick if these are your style – they’re only £25 too!
Talking of black shoes, I did have to feature these. With an adjustable ankle strap and a gorgeous mirror gold flared block heel they will be perfect for party season. I try to mainly wear a block heel as I find it gives me a lot more stability when I know I’m going to be standing or dancing for a long period of time – which to be honest is quite often! These are also £25 here.

Finally, from Boohoo there were these two impractical blighters – thin, high stiletto heels on both and barely there straps, these aren’t going to be supporting my feet anytime soon but aren’t they just so pretty!? I’m actually debating adding marabou to some of my existing heel collections because it’s just super fun, and easy to do; just pick up some from a local craft shop and glue gun away! If you’re not feeling crafty and have the ability to walk in such teetering heels then the marabou ones are £25 and the mermaid ones £22. I’m drawn to the mermaid ones as I for sure owned pretty much the same pair in 1999 from Barratts I think- and wore them to celebrate the millennium!
Simply Be were the winners for accessories, they had a great edited collection with them so there was something for everyone.
These amazing gunmetal wide fit boots (£40) have stolen my heart – I think they’re a fab twist on the chunky winter boot.
My favourite of the party shoes at CFF, were the Silver Jewelled Courts (£30). They’ve got a lovely small chunky heel so perfect for a long night out for sure!
The bags were also just as fab, I can’t choose between this Guitar strap shoulder bag (£35) , the Embroidered satchel (£35) or this saddle bag with chain strap and tassle (£25). Maybe I should go for all three?!
What’s your favourite item of the ones I spotted? I’m off to snap up those Boohoo mules before they’re gone!
