Autumn is well under way and that means practical shoes for bad weather is a much needed investment. Luckily, practical clothing doesn’t always mean boring and dull. Especially not this season. Here are some of my favourite extra wide fit boots for this Autumn.
A cute statement pair of knee high boots! I especially love the lace up detail which is perfect for the gothic atmosphere that comes with cold evenings . Faux suede and a comfortable heel height, they’re great for casual stroll through autumn leaves or dressed up for a chilly night out.
Dolores Low Block Heel Boots – £35.00
Hot pink is such a good colour to use blocked with other beautiful autumn colours. Autumn trends now use bright colours to take us out of the dullness that comes with too much darker clothing. Colour blocking with winter accessories like hats and scarves, coupled with these bright boots and your trusty winter coat means you can still be as playful with your colours as you were in the Summer.
Affordable, low heel and one of the key prints for autumn. These leopard print Chelsea boots are ideal for an everyday boot and are in a total of cute 5 colours, so if you think they could be your new favourite book, you have plenty of choice!
Boots with a faux fur cuff have been a staple for at least the last few years. When you have to go for practical clothing when the weather turns, this style of boot can definitely dress up your waterproofs. They’re a classic style for the worst weather and will always be a trusty companion for the colder months.
These boots are meant to be worn. They are definitely not a pair of boots to keep in the back of the wardrobe just for special occasions. They are pure disco and I am immediately jealous of anyone who owns a pair.
Another amazing pair of statement boots. The detail on these are beautiful. Tapestry style items of clothing always remind me of autumn. The colours used in them are perfect tones for mixing with autumnal colours, brighter pieces or a faux fur coat. Embroidery is always a big thing in Autumn/Winter and it’s easy to see why. It’s a delicate way of bringing floral into the months where flowers aren’t considered seasonal.
I can’t write a post on boots without including a classic pair of Chelsea boots. M&S have upped their game when catering to those with wider feet and plus size shapes. An obviously reliable brand and I have no doubts that they will be comfy and probably survive the apocalypse because of their quality. Marks and Spencers is now my go to for reliable pieces that are also cute af.
I want to buy several of these and hand them out as gifts because I believe that everyone deserves a pair of boots this cute. Check for Autumn can induce eye rolls, but get monochrome into the mix and it’s beautifully chic.
