We’ve all thought about having a tv bed, mostly just because of how cool they look, but have you ever thought about the practical reasons to get one? Whenever I think about my dream bedroom, I just love the idea of a freestanding bed. You know the ones where the room is so spacious that they put up a mini wall in the middle just for the bed? That! I want a luxury, spacious room, that is full of ways to entertain myself and relax. One of the main things I always think about having is a Tv bed. Here I break down the top 5 reasons on why everyone need a tv bed in their life.
There’s no need a bulky tv stand, shelf on the wall, or even the need to find an empty wall to put a bracket on. Tv Beds take away the clutter of a tv in a room. There’s even different designs that you can choose from for extra hidden storage. Such as drawers at the side, or a compartment underneath the mattress to store all of your extra bedding.
You could arrange the bed to be on a feature wall, or even use the bed as a feature itself. I would design the room around the bed, making sure that the bed stands out and you have room all around it.
You can really achieve the wow factor with tv beds as there are so many different colours, different textures like leather, or even crushed velvet. Plus there are different designs that you can choose from depending on what look you’re going for, for example there’s more curved designs, smaller more compact ones, or really chunky and commanding designs. Not to mention you can really impress anyone who comes over, including children, with your transformer style bed.
A lot of people say it’s bad to have a tv in the bedroom, but I think that’s a load of rubbish! It’s pure luxury to be able to snuggle up and watch something in the comfort of your favourite place. Whether it’s with a loved one or on your own. Tv Beds are great for when you’re renting a place, as there’s no holes in walls. The TV can also be completely hidden away, making your room look incredibly neat with no cables, or big bulky tv hanging on the walls.
Whether you’re laid down or sat up, you’ll never have to bend your neck upwards or in an uncomfortable position as you’ll always get the best views. It’ll also make it easier for hearing the tv with it being close to you, meaning you don’t have to worry about any late night Netflix binges waking up the rest of the house!
